The Early Bird gets the worm... or at least it can, with your help! Control your bird with simple and intuitive gesture controls to flutter through beautiful landscapes past an array of obstacles. Complete 96 amazing levels and earn achievements along the way. Can you top the OpenFeint leaderboard and get the Early Bird its morning meal?
Early Bird offers a new twist on the virtual wing flapping first pioneered by the arcade classic Joust. Swipe your touch screen to flap your wings and move across the screen towards the worm's hole. The direction and velocity of your swipe dictates the path of the Early Bird's flight. The only problem is, you only get a few flaps for each level--use them wisely! The closer the Early Bird gets to the bullseye, the more stars and points you'll earn for the level.
The beautifully illustrated environments of Early Bird are filled with obstacles that make catching the worm a challenging task. Some flowers spin, creating gusts of wind that can help or hinder the Early Bird. Other flowers act as trampolines, bouncing the Early Bird towards its goal. Flocks of birds create aerial traffic jams as bees buzz about, waiting to get snapped up for bonus points.
- Storage (modify or delete SD card contents) - Used by OpenFeint to store your leaderboard standings and achievements without taking up your device's internal storage.
- Network communication (full Internet access, view network state) - Used to access the OpenFeint and analytics servers. Viewing your network state allows OpenFeint to more easily detect when your device is offline.
- Phone calls (read phone state and identify) - Allows PayPal to uniquely identify your device for security.
