A Note on permissions:
android.permission.GET_ACCOUNTS - TripIt uses this permission to auto-populate the sign-in for a new user, speeding up the sign-in process.
android.permission.READ_CONTACTS - TripIt uses contacts information to permit users to share a trip without having to type in their email address.
android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED - TripIt runs this once per day when a user does not have a trip, and once every 3 hours (by default) when a user has a trip ongoing. If desired, there is a settings option where users can disable all refreshes, killing the background server.
