Imagine waking up in a dark forest, surrounded by the sounds of the wailing souls trapped in the haunted trees. The howling wind is delivering a chilling message of evil, drawing closer by the second. The cold whispers of the forgotten souls tell you to run as far as you can, as fast as you can, before it's too late. You cannot hide or stop, for it can see you, find you, and take you.
Step into the dark and dreary world of Dead Runner. Your aim is to run as far and fast as you can without slamming yourself into a tree or a stone, but fast enough to avoid getting caught from behind. Navigate through the haunted forest, around the head stones and shadowy trees, by tilting your device to change direction. As you flee, you will encounter "tragic stones" throughout the forest, memorials to those who preceded you...and lost. When you are overtaken or hit an obstacle, you will receive a score for your efforts, and find it nearly impossible to not try again...and again...hoping to survive.
Where the game lacks in bells and whistles, it makes up for it with its supremely creepy sound effects and imagery. You can choose from three different game modes to immerse yourself in a nightmare at a frightening speed, including Distance, Chase, and Points mode.
Earn dozens of chilling achievements for your heroic efforts, each categorized by game mode, such as Grave Digger, Close Call, Pedal to the Metal, and more. In the game's settings, you can adjust the sound volume and control the tilt sensitivity to suit your device.
